Kazuo Kawasaki is a reputable Japan designer, Ph.D, professor of Osaka University.

According to the rating of NEWSWEEK magazine published in 2004 and 2009, he was listed among top 100 prominent Japanese.

He is a winner of a number of rewards:
– Best Design Prize of the Industrial Design Forum in Hannover;
– SILMO International Grand Prix, France;
– An eleven-fold winner of Japan Good Design Award Contest, Japan

He took up the post of Design Director in Apple Inc.
